Mathilda: Leon 2 by Joe Granby
(Action) - This is a sequel/prequel to the original 1994 film. It takes place in 1952 and 2004. As we catch up with what Mathilda is doing now and how Leon ended up comong to New York. There has been a lot of rumours about a sequel to Leon. But as a fan of the first, like I'm sure there are here? The original wasn't really crying out for a sequel as such. But if mine was to be ever read by anyone of importance, I reckon the version I have here, shownin it's first draft, is at least enjoyable for those maybe wanting to see a little more of just how these characters got on. Who knows, it may even get made one day. (html)

Galina by Lydia Kay hosted by LydiaKay.net
(Drama) - Pre-Revolutionary Russia, St. Petersburg, 1917. Slogans 'Lynch those bourgeoisies' and 'Class war to the end' are the order of the day. The life of a girl, Galina, is shattered in an instant as she witnesses the brutal massacre of her family. The terrifying roller-coaster ride of her life begins... From the palatial mansions of St. Petersburg to a shabby village house, hunger, and bitter encounters with the Bolsheviks. From the rigorous training at choreography school and fights against being labeled an 'enemy of the people' to the center stage of the theatre as a prima ballerina. From her passionate love affair with Alexander to the horrifying reality of the Leningrad siege during WWII. Through the passage of time and with each savage encounter Galina toughens and vigorously fights back. In an ironic twist of events, the link to her massacred family reemerges. It sets Galina on a mission to restore her family's dignity. Meanwhile, her husband, Alexander, falls innocent victim to 'behind the scenes' political intrigue. Fueled by the eagerness to obtain justice for her family and her victimized husband, Galina finds herself in a deadly collision with her bitter enemy. She risks it all, but retaliates and, ultimately, wins. (pdf)
