Greetings Scriptarians! Well, been busy with the updates. Some great new stuff on the 'net. The Weekly Script has up a rehersal draft of All the President's Men as well as other William Goldman penned scripts. "Green Wasabi" put us on to two neat movie scripts, Analyse This and Analyse That - both in PDF format. The folks over at Being Charlie Kaufman have laid hands on an early draft of Kaufman's script A Scanner Darkly based on the book of the same name by Philip K. Dick (Other movies based on the writings of PK Dick include Minority Report and Total Recall.) For those of you who do not like wading through html page after html page might enjoy the fruits of Marc's labours with an early draft of Spider-Man in one word doc file. And this just in, word has it that The Daily Script will have a very, very early draft of the 1985 Teen flick Real Genius on line this evening. How's that for fresh! More anon, Don

There are a few more reviews on the Reviews section of the site. The only review to a recently released movie is Bringing down the House. For those of you who might be flixin' or heading to the vid, you might want to take a look at some reviews of movies already out on DVD like, DreamCatcher, Casualties of War or Ghost Ship.

What I've been watching

I saw Ringu, Hideo Nakata's creepy horror flick, the translation of which I read a few years back. If you haven't seen The Ring (or read a review), then I'd recommend that you watch the original Japanese version first. If you have already seen the American version, I think you will find the Japanese version a little slower paced. It was facinating to watch what elements of the original Japanese verision were carried over to the American version.
