cup of coffee and we can go.
DEBBIE
She gets up and puts on her bathrobe and slippers.

should feel better.
Talking to Steve with her back to him, irritated.
STEVE
Now what? whats wrong? tell me.
DEBBIE
Looking at Steve and pauses.
I'm scarred, the dreams you have
are becoming upsetting, you look
like your fighting for your life in
bed.
STEVE
Debbie, stop it please? I'm going
to clean up and then we'll go out
and have a nice time, right? now go
make the coffee.

DEBBIE
I think so, I do need to stop at a
ATM though.
STEVE
Alright then lets get going.
EXT.FRONT OF HOUSE-LATE MORNING
Steve and Debbie exit the front door and walk to the car.
As Steve and Debbie are walking Debbie stops and asks a
question.
DEBBIE
Steve? what is the time 6:05 about
in your dream?
STEVE
He stops to listen.
You heard me say that while I was
sleeping?
DEBBIE
Yes, well thats what woke me up.
You said I need to make the 6:05,
like that, and you said it loud.
STEVE
I don't know, look I thought we
we're out to have some fun today?
come on.
They get into the car and drive off.
INT.THE ANTIQUE SHOP-EARLY AFTERNOON
A customer is walking out as Steve and Debbie are entering.
DEBBIE
Something catches her eye.
Honey! look at this, an old Mr
Potato head. I haven't seen one of
these in years.
STEVE
(Sneering)
Talk about walking down memory
lane.
As Steve is scanning the shop his attention is grabbed by a
table of old toys. He picks up a toy train and studies it.
While holding the toy train a voice startles him.
DEBBIE
STEVE?....STEVE!?
STEVE
What!? whats wrong?
DEBBIE
Didn't you hear me?
STEVE
No, I guess I didn't sorry.
Debbie takes the train from Steve's hand and puts it back
down.
DEBBIE
We're spending the day together,
remember?
STEVE
(Takes her arm)
OK, where to next? whats over
there?
DEBBIE
Anywhere, just lets not loose each
other I don't feel like shopping
around for you, right?
STEVE
Right, well whats over there?
DEBBIE
I don't know, some nice pieces from
the early 40s I think. Lets have a
look.
Debbie enjoying her visit to at the antique shop wants Steve
to go with her to a different area of the shop.
STEVE
Look go on ahead just let me take a
look at some of these WWII things
on that table.
DEBBIE
(frustrated)
Honey, come on, again?
STEVE
I'll follow you over, I'm not going
to be long, promise.
DEBBIE
Alright, I'll stick around here
till your done then.
Debbie moves over to the table where Steve is going through
some interesting pieces. She grabs an old watch, looks at it
and tosses it to Steve.
DEBBIE(CONT)
Here, look even she has it hard
getting her fiance to spend time
with her.
STEVE
Steve looks over the watch and
reads the inscription,"Every minute
together,for eternity".
Steve turns his attention to one of the SHOP KEEPERS.
STEVE(CONT)
Excuse me, are you the original
owner of this time piece?
INT.SHOP-EARLY AFTERNOON
SHOP KEEPER
No, that person is probably history
like the watch.
STEVE
You think so? so you didn't know
the owner of this watch?
SHOP KEEPER
I don't know sir, we get things
like that watch from all walks of
life in this business.
STEVE
Yes I see.
Puts back the watch. A set of old black and white pictures
catches his eye.
DEBBIE
(Nudges Steve)
Steve, Steve! what are you doing?
STEVE
(Startled)
Oh, nothing why?
DEBBIE
Are you finished here? I would like
to have a look around the rest of
the shop sometime today.
STEVE
Yea sure, I'm finished lets go.
Steve is walking behind Debbie when Steve gets a call on his
cell phone. Debbie turns and gives an aggravated look to
Steve.
DEBBIE
Who can that be now?
STEVE
(Answers the phone)
I have no idea. Hello, yes it is
who is this? BILL, O.K. referred by
a customer?
Steve is walking around thoughtlessly as he talks on the
phone. He gets a pen and a piece of paper from his pocket.
STEVE(CONT)
OK I got it, One Moonlight Dr, sure
I'll be there.
Steve hangs up and without saying anything he walks out the
door and Debbie goes after him but its too late she sees him
drive off.
DEBBIE
Steve! Steveee!!
INT.CAR-MID AFTERNOON
Steve pulls the car over grabs the road map and opens it.
STEVE
(Mumbling)
Moonlight Dr? damn, and its not on
the map.
He puts down the map and looks at his surroundings and sees
someone in their driveway working on a car with a friend.
EXT.DRIVEWAY-LATE AFTERNOON
Steve pulls up to the driveway and rolls down his window.
STEVE
Excuse me there! hey buddy!
The two young men stop and look to see who is calling them.
STEVE(CONT)
Hi, I need a little help, can you
tell me where Moonlight Dr.is?
The two young men stop and look to see who is yelling to
them and give Steve a long stare then one of them points
down the street.
Then returns to looking under the hood.
STEVE
Moonlight Dr.? you sure?
The one young man lifts his head from under the hood and
gives a nod.
STEVE(CONT)
(Mumbling)
Jeez, whats with these people?
don't like to talk I guess don't
like to talk I guess.
He turns the car around and heads in that direction.
EXT.MOONLIGHT DRIVE-MID AFTERNOON
The street he comes to looks more like a private road then a
street with a painted sign reading "Moonlight Dr."
STEVE
(Mumbling)
No wonder it wasn't on the map. I
hope this isn't a waste of time.
Steve continues on down Moonlight Dr. and arrives at "one
Moonlight Dr." and proceeds down its driveway getting a good
look of the big house.
He grabs his business case then closes the car door and
walks to the front door and rings the door bell.
The door opens and standing in front of him is a man in his
mid 70s
STEVE
BILL, right?
BILL
Oh, you made it, good.
Steve takes Bills hand and shakes it.
BILL(CONT)
I should of gave you better
directions I forgot about the
private road, I'm sorry.
INT.BILLS HOUSE HALLWAY-MID AFTERNOON
STEVE
It happens, I'm here now thats what
matters. Nice house you have.
BILL
Thank you come on in. We can go in
the living room, be more
comfortable there. I was thinking
just a simple security system for
me I think, I'm home a lot and its
mainly just peace of mind.
STEVE
OK sure I'll take a look around and
see what I can cook up.
BILL
Something to drink?
STEVE
Oh, no thanks I'm OK.
BILL
Sit down and get comfortable.Can
you give me a minute I was in the
middle of something just before you
arrived.
STEVE
Yea sure, go ahead.
Bill exits the room leaving Steve in the living room.
INT.BILLS HOUSE-LIVING ROOM FIREPLACE-MID AFTERNOON
Steve is walking around the room putting together an
estimate for a security system for Bill when he comes to the
fireplace.
He sees on the mantle some old pictures and what looks like
old family keepsakes.
One picture is of a young woman dressed in 1940s garb and a
child holding her hand, beside that is an old watch.
Bill returns from the other room sees Steve looking at the
objects on the mantle.
BILL
Find anything interesting?
STEVE
(Surprised)
Ahh, no just admiring the antiques
you have here. The picture, of the
girl and baby, who's that of? if
you don't mind me asking?
BILL
Of course not, the picture is of my
late daughter and her son. The
watch had belonged to her fiance'.
STEVE
(Shocked)
Late daughter? what happened?
BILL
Its what they call dying from a
broken heart I believe.
STEVE
Something with a boyfriend then?
BILL
Yes, a very Tragic chain of events,
her boyfriend STEPHEN, her husband
to be, served in the Armed Forces
during WWII, after the war ended we
were told he would be coming home
by train from where he was
stationed in California.JANICE my
daughter was filled with excitement
about it so we decided to wait at
the station with her for his
arrival that early evening. The
wait felt like an eternity. Then we
found out why.
Bill standing still in deep memory describes the awful
moments he and his wife witnessed what his daughter was
about to endure.
Steve is uneasy as he listens to the story.
BILL
The train derailed, killing a great
number of people including Stephen.
Janice when into shock and never
was the same again, she struggled
with her fight of depression from
his death having to work hard to
raise WILLIAM the son she had that
now was illegitimate, fell asleep
one day after having too much to
drink leaving little William
unattended, he fell down a flight
of steps playing, breaking his
neck.
STEVE
(Exhausted)
Shocking, thats hard, almost like
being cheated.
(Stunned)
Did you say STEPHEN?
BILL
Yes I did why?
Steve walks over to the couch a little shook and sits down
to go through his papers, nervously, trying to find a
brochure to hand to Bill.
INT.BILLS HOUSE-LIVING ROOM COUCH-LATE AFTERNOON
STEVE
So how's your daughter now after
all that?
BILL still standing turns his head to see Steve's reaction
to his next answer.
BILL
She died one month after the child
did, I don't think I need to
explain why, it's obvious.
Steve nervously touching his head and moving things around
the table.
BILL(CONT)
You alright? looking for something
important?
STEVE
(Stands up)
No, I'm OK not enough sleep I guess
making me forgetful. Umm, why don't
we do this later in the week I'll
come back and give you a better
estimate I don't have the time to
estimate the job right. Alright?
Bill walks over to Steve to see him to the door.
BILL
OK it is kind of late to start with
that now. Just give me a call and
you know where I live now so you
won't waste time looking for the
house.
EXT.BILLS HOUSE-DRIVEWAY-LATE AFTERNOON
STEVE hurries to his car.
Gets in starts the engine, while adjusting the rear view
mirror sees the reflection of Bills house in it, but it
isn't what he would expect to see.
Bills house is now a old abandoned one with boarded up
windows and overgrowth all around it.
Steve shaken he hits the gas pedal hard throwing gravel and
dirt everywhere.
Driving way too fast down the driveway he hits a bump and
looses control stalling out the car.
Trying to start it back up again,he can't its flooded.
EXT.THE BOTTOM OF THE DRIVEWAY-LATE AFTERNOON
STEVE
(Mumbling)
Flooded, damn! well maybe I should
wait awhile then try again.
He gets out of the car takes a breath then wanders a little
down the road and then sees through the weeds in front of
him a railroad track.
EXT.WALKING THE TRACKS-EARLY EVENING
Steve peers both ways down the tracks and sees that the
track bends into a right turn so he walks toward it to see
what is at the end of it when he comes upon a shinny object
laying on the ground.
He picks it up, looks at it closely and notices the watch is
identical to the one at Bills house.
STEVE
What the hell is this doing out
here? Same watch that was at
Bills?, inscription and all.
"Together Forever Love Janice".
Steve slips the watch into his pocket and sees something
else, an old newspaper on the ground.
The headline reads "WAR IS OVER JAPAN SURRENDERS". He
proceeds to walk when he sees what looks like a train
station and gets a flash back of his dream making him
uneasy.
EXT.TRAIN STATION PLATFORM-EARLY EVENING
Lifting himself up on the station platform STEVE stands up
only to see a very old TICKET MASTER standing right in front
of him.
the TICKET MASTER extends his hand with a ticket in it
handing it to STEVE.
TICKET MASTER
(Grinning)
Your ticket sir, the train leaves
on time. 6:05
STEVE
(Scared)
No, not me, I don't need a ticket,
Thank you.
TICKET MASTER
All the same sir its been
purchased, take it, it is yours.
Now Steve is very upset, he slaps away the ticket from the
Ticket masters hand and turns to walk away, Then he sees
something he can't believe, the woman in the photograph.
STEVE
Its not mine I said!.
He begins walking toward her, it was as if he was looking at
the photograph it self, an illusion of Janice.
When he gets right up next to her she smiles.
JANICE
Steve, you made it, don't be
frightened its me Janice, its been
a very long time, but finally now
we'll be together. I won't let you
miss the train again and its coming
now.
Janice reaches to put her hands to his face and then Steve
breaks away from her and runs toward the road at the end of
the station.
Steve turns to look back behind himself and hears a loud ear
piercing screech.
EXT.TRUCK ACCIDENT-LATE EVENING
Steve comes to and sees a blurry image of a TRUCK DRIVER
kneeling over him putting his hand under Steve's head.
TRUCK DRIVER
God, Mr. why did you run out like
that? Come on buddy stay with me
you'll be OK.
He hears a voice its coming from behind them. Its Janice.
Through his dying eyes he sees Janice reaching out for him.
Steve looks up at the Truck driver and gives one last small
smile and then lets go.
EXT.BOARDING THE TRAIN-LATE EVENING
Now standing in his sharp Army uniform on the station
platform with steam bellowing out from the train sitting in
front of him.
The Ticket master approaches Steve again to hand him his
ticket.
TICKET MASTER
Ready now sir? your ticket they
have been waiting.
STEVE
Yes, I'm looking for a woman...
Janice appears from the steam around the train.
JANICE
I'm here.
They make eye contact and walk toward each other and take
hands.
STEVE
That must be our train.
JANICE
Yes, it is. Ready?
STEVE
I think I kept you waiting long
enough.
They take hands and walk together on to the train.
Steve and Janice are seen sitting through the trains window
as the whistle sounds Steve can be seen reaching for the
watch in his pocket.
INT.TRAIN-LATE EVENING
STEVE
Look, 6:05, right on time and
together.
JANICE
Yes, forever an eternity.
As the train pulls away it passes the truck and truck driver
still kneeling over the fatally injured Steve in the street.
