Actually Kristen Stewart can act, and does fit the role, otherwise the director/producer woudn’t have appointed her. It annoys me when people say “oh so and so is rubbish at acting and don’t fit the rol”, because they are obviously wrong. I mean who are you gonna trust more, some random person or the professional?

Kristen Stewart can act. I’ve seen a few other of her movies and (trust me)…she can act. I’ve read the book over a million times and she has the role of Bella down perfectly! All the peeps who think she is terrible at acting…i’d love to see you try to portray the role of Bella. Don’t go and make judgments about Kristen Stewart when you know that you couldn’t of done a better job at it than she did. No one can top her acting job!

hey dena i agree 100% with you about kristen stewart! she nailed bella in twilight and with the new moon trailors on youtube i’ve seen new moon will be even better! in the book you could imagine the kind of person bella would be but bella just tops it! she fits the charcter PERFECT!…;)

I read that a lot, the whole “Kristen Stewart can’t act” thing, and I must say that I am Team Switzerland (Twilight thing) on this debate. Firstly, I dont think anyone has the right to say whether a person is talented at something or not. That’s one third of my opinion. Also, the Kristen-haters are simply jealous. I’m not sticking up for her here, just stating an obvious fact. The ones who criticise her are jealous – maybe because of co-star Robert Pattinson, or landing the Bella role, or just being a damn good actress, which is proved by the sheer achievement of her beating thousands of other girls who also wanted the role. And finally, I think that all the people who comment on either “side” should just stay Switzerland. Whoa, that was a long post. And, to be totally fan-girl: Twilight Rock and I suffer from OTD, OED, OECD, OCD, etc…

Hey there guys
I have to agree with those that feel Kristen Stewart isnt right to play Bella. It’s not because she cannot act but, i read the books after the film and reading on from twilight to new moon, right through to breaking dawn, i just couldnt picture bella as a kristen stewart i’m afraid. She is a wicked actor and if she adapts to the role that bella takes then more the better but i reckon it will be a tough job, but then what do i know i can’t act.

Hey, i dont think that kristen stewart played bella too bad but she hast to work on her facial expressions ( they were quite the same at some points). But what i really find unfair is that her father is television producer for fox which shows again that if you really want to achieve sth in acting you have to have the right connections. I am acting myself and i know that there are sooo many good actors and actresses which would have fitted into her role and be talented aswell! well to come to an end you just have accept that this is life, not all of us have the same possibilties and that not even america lives the american dream always . By the way sry for my bad english but iam not a native speaker.

I LOVE Twilight it is my favourite movie and my fave book. I’ve read Twilight 8 times(just the first book). I’va watched the movie 13 times!!!

I think Kristen Stewart is NOT the right girl to play Bella. She isn’t …. ‘Bella-ish” enough!! lol She just isn’t right!!!

OMG!!! I LOVE Rob’s new haircut!!…Well actully I love him! I <3 his guitar playing, but his singing voice sucks! But Still… SO HOT!!!!!!

My least fave book in the series was New Moon! Not enough EDWARD!!!

Really? you guys are really stupid. Yeah Kristen isn’t the greatest actress, but she’s better than you guys and she fits well in my eyes. Robert Pattinson can’t act, he has no real emotion, and yes i know in the books he really doesn’t have much emotion, but when you’re upset about something, make a different kind of face than looking constipated. agree with everyone who thinks she fits the role. I mean come on. Kristen nailed the part of Bella and you all are just selfish! If you read the book which I’m sure most of you have, then you know bella is very insecure of herself and she isnt and open person she is very close mineded. And kristen seriously did an amazing job at playing that role. At times i think she could have done a tad bit better but she played the role just as most pictured Bella to be like.

I think kristen its a brilliant actor, i think Bella is one of the most complicated person ive ever read about, and has alot of emotions and kristen does it perfectly, i think some actors would find it difficult to play bella, and when you read the books you picture kristen now as bella, i dont think anyone should slate her, shes doing great:)

no Anonymous u are wrong!! Kirsten Stewart never took any acting classes at all. So, I’m not saying she was a bad actress, but she did not fit the role of Bella even though she tends to be socially awkward and clumsy. I feel like they could of found some other random person, they probably would have done better than her. I mean if you really try and look at the films, she has the same facial expression throughout all four films…

Ok, I read the books over and over again and i can tell you Kristen did not do good at playing Bella. She did have some good parts but most of her acting sucked. Why do you think rob and Taylor are getting so many more acting gigs then she is now, cause they are better actors. And also for that girl who said she did better then any of you, how do you know if you never even seen some of these people act. And sadly some people don’t even really have to act to play Bella, I am talking from the books. I am the same type of person Bella is minus faling in love with a vampire (lol), my whole life. Old soul, keeps to herself and very insecure. Like my friends and people in my town said they could have wroten bella off of me minus my blue eyes. And there are plenty of other girls like that who coupld have done a better bella. I am pretty sure there are girls on here who could have done a better bella.

Why would the director pick her if she woesnt good, well ofcourse he did because she is amazing. Learn how to write guys.
