Lost and Found and 15 other original scripts - post author Don

As promised, rather that just dump fifteen to thirty original scripts on the unproduced scripts page and say, “have at it”, I’ve randomly-ish pulled one and read it.

I read Lost and Found (click on the title when you get to the discussion board.). It is a short script – 12 pages in MS Word. I selected it because it was the last of the 16 original scripts I posted today. That is the only reason I picked it.

The log line is: Whilst camping, two young men come across a time capsule with documents and memorabilia 60 years old. Through examining the items they reflect on their own lives and dreams. .

The formatting is a bit off which I find distracting, but was nonetheless able push through that. The writer of the script, Nicholas, is from Australia. I love the non-American perspective of the world and interesting turn of phrase. I’d love to know what a ‘footy’ is. This is very much a contemporary piece with reference to events currently unfolding in our world.

If short dramatic pieces are not your bag, there are tons more scripts of every genre on the unproduced scripts page. – Don

a footy is either a football game e.g. ‘going to watch the footy’, or the football itself e.g. ‘he kicked the footy through the goal posts’.

In this instance it is referring to the football itself….VB is a popular alcoholic beverage of the beer variety, Victoria Bitter to be precise.
