A Long Winter for Dying and other original scripts - post author Don

Over on the Unproduced Scripts page there are 35 original scripts for your reading pleasure.

I’m on the downside of a reading/viewing binge of “The World is going to Crap” having finished McCarthy’s The Road and just started Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (and Pride and Prejudice alternating chapters). I also saw 2012. And my boys got their H1N1 shots. I don’t qualify for an H1N1 shot (I’m thinking the nurse looked me over and put me in the ‘expendable – we don’t need his genes to repopulate the earth’ category).

So, with that mindset in mind, Len Cooper’s drama A Long Winter for Dying caught my eye.

The story of how one family tries to stay together in the wake of the third deadly pandemic in as many years. Away at college, Valerie attempts to return home as her parents and sister plan a rescue mission to reunite the separated Smith family. All four of them must fight against the infected and uninfected alike if they ever want to see each other again.. It is 106 pages and in pdf format.

If this isn’t your bag, there are 34 other works on the Unproduced Scripts page to delight the attention deficits among you (shorts) and the perpetually optimistic (comedy) and the paranoid (thriller). – Don
