Hollywood has run out of fresh new material. It’s remake after remake, sequel after sequel. It’s time they open the doors to talented, undiscovered screenwriters. Instead of freezing us out, they need to help themselves ,by letting us help them. The new fad is fairy tales. If i want to watch fairy tales, i can tune in every Sunday Night and watch them for free on Television. There is not much out there at the theatres that merits my price for admission Hundreds of millions of dollara are being spent on flopbusters. I have completed a screenplay, and started aniother. My completed script is about a man who begins to question his lifelong, idyllic moral and ethical values, after a tragic family occurence on Christmas Eve. It will draw instant comparisons to a timeless Christmas classic. My film will be suitable and enjoyed by all ages. I have a copyright on it, and have copies for dstribution. Megan Ellison is a Hollywood outsider (For the time being). She has the right idea, She’s producing movies that most Hollywood producers/studios won’t touch. It will pay off for ther big time. I just submitted my script to her for review. Hollywood needs to wake up, stop being greedy and let som other people in on the profits. And, forget that clause in the release form, that all screenwriters are required to sign that reads: “be aware that we may already have a work similar to yours in production, or we have a writer who submitted similar work.” Please, Give me a break! Wake up, and start doing What Ellison is doing, while there is still time.
