Earthsea and Harper’s Island - post author Don

Teleplays! Thanks to Brandon for the heads up on the Pilot teleplay to Harper’s Island. Basically, Henry and Trish are getting married and a serial killer offs the guests one by one.

Thanks to Russell for the heads up on the screenplay of A Wizard of Earthsea. A while back, SciFi Channel took a stab at it and failed miserably. Behold for your reading pleasure, what it could have been – an undated, unspecified and unfortunately unused draft of A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. LeGuin and director Michael Powell, which might have been the greatest fantasy film ever made with Sir Ralph Richardson playing the dragon.

Tottle over to the TV Scripts page.

Happy Father’s Day

Unproduced scripts! - post author Don

There are another 60 or so unproduced scripts up on the Unproduced Scripts page. I scanned the loglines and since I feel in a little post apocalyptic mood today, might I recommend (or give the kiss of death to)…

Crick – a little bit “The Road” and “World War Z” with some “Mad Max” tossed in. With the society in shambles after an epic epidemic, life is tough. Lexas is saved by a mysterious man named Crick and finds herself swept into a nomadic group of wanderers, left behinds, train pirates and sub human Ravagers

And there is Volcanic IceWhen the Mt. Erebus volcano erupts in Antarctica, a group of student geologists struggle to escape the area

World coming to an end not working for you? There are also a ton of shorts and comedies, too over on the Unproduced Scripts page. – Don
