Disconnected – Stranger Things episode 5 - post author Don

Normally, There has gotta be a script to a movie I post. There will be, soon. However, I thought this was too freaking brilliant to wait until Earl passes the annotated script over.

Watch the 5th episode of Stranger Things – Disconnected.

When their prize reality star goes missing, a monolithic network enlists the aid of the entire world to find him.

Written and directed by Earl Newton, based on a story by J. C. Hutchins and Earl Newton.

You can watch the vid at Stranger Things or below. But, I highly recommend that you watch the high quality, full screen version. Launch it, pause it and give it a chance to download. Then turn off the lights and enjoy.

Check out the teleplays to previous episodes of Stranger Things

Breanne Mattson’s “Tormentor” Optioned - post author Don

This recently appeared in the InkTip newsletter.

Breanne Mattson’s “Tormentor” Optioned Through InkTip

Richard Schwartz and Producer/Director F. Javier Gutierrez optioned the feature script Tormentor from Breanne Mattson, and are currently developing the property as an official untitled F. Javier Gutierrez project.

This is a big step for writer Breanne. Although she’s had a couple short films produced, a couple of independently optioned feature scripts and has been hired as a writer onto a couple other projects, this is her first “Hollywood” option at the studio-level. While describing “Tormentor,” a thriller with sci-fi elements, Breanne related the following: “It involves time travel but it’s actually a rather simple and straightforward story. It raises questions about life and death that I don’t think any movie of its type has ever done before…” Congratulations to Breanne Mattson!

Congratulatory messages can be posted here

{disclaimer: As usual, Ms. Mattson’s success is due to her hard work and tenacity. SimplyScripts had nothing to do with her success. – Don}
