National Board picks for 2008 - post author Don

The National Board announced yesterday their picks for the best of 2008.

On the screenwriting side, award for best adapted screenplay was shared by Eric Roth for Benjamin Button and Simon Beaufoy for Slumdog Millionaire. Gran Torino screenwriter, Nick Schenk, won for original script.

Slumdog and Benjamin Button have not been put online by the studios, yet. The Gran Torino script was up on the Warner Brothers for a short time, but was then pulled. You might, however, still be able to read it on Google cache.
