I’ve finally cleared the backlog of unproduced scripts in the que. I’m caught up and it is a great feeling. However, even as I write this I see more scripts coming in. Over half of the scripts this week are shorts. It is so easy to feature a short and I’ve been leaning toward featuring shorts the last few weeks. It isn’t a major time commitment. However, this week James McClung’s thriller Outsiders caught my eye. It is a 102 page ‘short’ feature in pdf format. Yes, the word “Yakuza” is what drew me to it. An adopted Japanese-American and his best friend cross paths with a vicious Yakuza crime syndicate while on vacation in Japan.
