Entertainment Weekly magazine has released their Top 100 Best Entertainment Websites for 2006. Imagine my surprise to find that JoBlo.com put SimplyScripts.com in such august company as Dark Horizons and RogerEbert.com. EW selected the Top 25 Entertainment Websites and asked each of those Top 25 to select 3 websites as their top picks. Berge, over at JoBlo.com was selected as a Top 25 website. He, in turn, selected SimplyScripts along with Dark Horizons and RogerEbert.com. Thanks JoBlo for picking our dorky little website. Also, the biggest thanks go to the readers, contributors and writers who visit SimplyScript and help support the site. Thanks! You can check out the Top 100 Best Entertainment Websites for 2006 now, or buy the June 23, 2006 issue of Entertainment Weekly. – Don

Congrats on the SHOUTOUT! I’m a big fan of the SIMPLY SCRIPTS website. You all do great work and provide the basic tool every aspiring screenwriter should utilize – SCRIPTS! All the “how to” books are cool, but there is nothing like honing one’s skills by reading produced as well as unproduced scripts. So thanks and much love to the people over at SIMPLYSCRIPTS.COM – KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO!

Well done, well done, well done. Nice to see the general public recognize what we’ve all known over the past few years. Your site is indeed the ultimate site for finding movie scripts on the ‘net.
